Why Jeffrey Weber Loves TARA Labs!

Jeff Weber knows how to get a live performance to sound unforgettable, and he knows how to master a CD to sound like a live performance. Jeff used TARA Labs (RSC) Rectangular Solid Core cables throughout the recording process. From the TARA Labs (RSC) Microphone cables in the studios and booths, right through to the TARA Labs (RSC) Air AC Power cables in the control room.

The Power Of The Performance

In evaluating a systems sound, the goal is feel that we are in the presence of live music. To hear the rich harmonic textures, and to convey the emotion of the music and the artist.

Rectangular Solid Core Cables… Why They Sound More Accurate

The sound of (RSC) cables is more extended, linear and accurate due to the shape of the small rectangular solid core. The size and the shape of the (RSC) conductors reduce the cable’s inductance, meaning that there is less frequency roll off. By comparison, a round conductor of the same gauge (size) would have a much higher inductance and more high frequency roll off. In the TARA Labs (RSC) conductors, because of the increased high frequency extension, the sound will be more neutral and naturally more revealing.

TARA Labs uses their patented “Super-Annealed, Oxygen-Free, Mono-Crystal, Frequency-Tuned, 99.999999% copper conductor (SA-OF8N)
